My Bio

LIZZIE ASTORGA

Lizzie Astorga is a bilingual singer-songwriter redefining the sound of the borderlands. Born in Monterrey, Mexico, and raised in Brownsville, Texas, Lizzie’s music acts as a sonic bridge between two worlds—blending the timeless storytelling of Carole King with modern indie-pop sensibilities and the bicultural magnetism of Selena.

With a vibrant soprano range and a knack for vulnerable lyricism, Lizzie has evolved from a local talent to a commanding regional force. Her discography, including the fan-favorite anthem “Primer Hogar,” explores themes of identity, love, and the nuance of growing up between cultures.

Live Performance & Tour Highlights
Lizzie’s career has seen explosive growth on the live stage. Breaking into the arena circuit, she supported Regional Mexican sensation Ivan Cornejo, performing her original songs at major venues, including the Toyota Music Factory in Dallas and Payne Arena in Hidalgo, TX.

Her momentum continued internationally with her debut performance in Mexico City (CDMX), solidifying her presence across the border. Most recently, Lizzie kicked off 2024 by opening for Mexican indie-pop star Bratty in February, further establishing herself as a key player in the Latin Alternative scene. These milestones follow her successful run supporting Caloncho on his sold-out Texas tour in 2023.

Beyond the stage, Lizzie has cultivated a dedicated digital community. As a content creator, she shares an authentic look into her life as an independent artist, merging her musical journey with her distinct visual style to build a loyal fanbase that connects with her. Currently, Lizzie is based in Boston, Massachusetts and is working on her second EP.
